Jatukham Rammathep

Jatukham Rammathep is a minor Hinduist deity that come from the deification of two Thai princes.
This deity is historically considered as the guardin deity of the Buddha relics homed in the Stupa of Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Jatukham Rammathep is also considered to be an emanation of the Boddhisattva Avalokiteshvara (Lord of Compassion in the Buddhist tradition), as are Chenrézi and Dölma in the Tibetan tradition.
The traditionnal posture of Jatukham Ramathep, with one leg unfolded is very similar to the posture of goddess green Tara.

The amulets of Jatukham Ramathep are considered to bring wealth
and to help have peacefull life by overcoming any obstacles.

Many miraculous story gave them an international reputation for efficiency.
They are often very beautifull and a lot of care was taken when the temples made them. They also very often countain many precious relics and magical substances, making them one of the most precious amulet type produced in recent years.
